The World Bank, in the context of City to City Dialogues, in collaboration with Co-Plan and Polis University organised a workshop on Urban Planning and Land Management. Invited were representatives from many Southeast Europe municipalities such as: Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia, Croatia, Serbia, Albania etc. Present were also representatives from the Municipality of Berat. During the meeting were presented studies made in the Legal Framework of Urban Planning in the countries of Southeast Europe. During the workshop was developed an assessment form for urban planning by which the participants will assess the situation in their countries. The findings will be presented in another seminar that will be held in Budva at the beginning of November. The next meeting will analyze financial instruments towards land development and will issue the relevant recommendations.
